The Y is said to represent the human form with outstretched arms, reaching to the Cosmos, sometimes in supplication, otherwise in glorification. It is also thought to represent the choices that Man must make between good and evil. Moving from the bottom upwards, the point at which the Y forks suggests the point at which you may demand autonomy for yourself, the right to make your own choices. From the other perspective, in two halves coming together it suggests androgeny or a perfect blend of two polarities. On a purely mundane level this letter may denote the dividing of the ways or a change in direction. You may also like to consult the entry for Androgen/Androgeny.
