We are acknowledging a degree of Spiritual Testament or statement of truth in our life, which we need in order to continue along our spiritual path. Witnessing is a term used when spiritually we observe without judgement. Testifying as a witness suggests that we feel we are being called to account for our actions or beliefs. We may feel somewhat insecure until we have been accepted by our peers. When we find ourselves in the position of being a witness to, for instance, an accident, it may be that our powers of observation are being highlighted. We need to take very careful note of what is going on around about us. Our interaction with authority may also be being called into question. Also consult the entries for Court and Crime/Criminal.
