The name ?quaker? was initially given to religious sects given to fits of shaking during religious fervor. Only later did it become a popular name for those of the Society of Friends who ?trembled at the Word of the Lord?. Religious beliefs and the acceptance of an ability to cope because of those beliefs is a great part of spiritual development. The human being has a need for a belief system that can support them in times of difficulty. To dream of being a Quaker allows us to link with our own inner self-sufficiency.To dream of somebody else being a Quaker indicates the recognition of the ability to maintain a strongly held belief, come what may. It indicates a tranquility and peacefulness that is not necessarily available to us in the waking state.
