Our search for perfection is an effort to return to our spiritual source. In dreams this is often signified by a sense of wonder. If we subscribe to the belief that everything is inherently perfect, dreams are one way in which we try to understand that perfection. They are also a way of coming to terms with anything in life that is less than perfect, of becoming aware of those things that need adjustment. Frequently in dreams we are aware of the ephemeral nature of perfection, a sense or feeling that is difficult without practice through meditation or other disciplines to retain in working life.
