A peak experience is one that takes us beyond our normal capabilities. From a spiritual perspective we have not allowed the limitations of the mundane world to hold us back. Reaching the peak of a mountain or hill in dreams signifies that we have put in a good deal of effort to reach for the best that we can be. In the sense that a peak is a high point, after which the energy begins to fall away, such a dream image may show that we have reached a point of completion and the next stage of the journey will be easier. Men's and women's perceptions of a peak experience will differ in dreams, although both will transcend the self-imposed boundaries and limitations that occur.
