Spiritual isolation signifies the hermit, or recluse any person living in seclusion, whether through religious belief or not. This suggests the need to spend time alone in tranquility. When we isolate ourselves (for example, on an island) it suggests that we do not wish or need to become emotionally involved with someone. When we find ourselves in isolation in a dream we should decide if it is by our own volition or because of others. If by our own wish, then there is a quality in us which has difficulty in relating to others; if because of others, we perhaps need to explore rejection and our feelings about it.
