In dreams the goblet has similar significance to the chalice. It represents the feminine, receptive principal and our ability to achieve enjoyment in different ways. As with all hollow vessels, spiritually it suggests also the Cup of Life. To dream of a set of goblets (as in wine glasses) rather than just a single one signifies the diversity of our own emotions and the value to us of social occasion. If a goblet is broken we may have made an error of judgement. We may be able to make a celebration out of something that is quite ordinary. To be drinking from a goblet indicates allowing ourselves the freedom to enjoy life to the full. If the goblet is decorated we may find that it signifies a particular skill or ability.
