A hand with a finger pointing the way signifies the spiritual direction to be taken. When the thumb and middle finger are held together it suggests suppression of the Ego (the conscious self). When we become conscious in dreams of the fingers on a hand we are often being given important information. A beckoning finger is encouragement, whereas if the fourth or ring finger is more noticeable, love of a selfless kind is suggested. If the little finger is crooked traditionally there may be some deviousness around.
