The forces of nature in us can be symbolized by scenes of the countryside. We can return, without feeling guilty, to a very relaxed state. As our lives become more frenetic we need an image which induces good feelings. There is, in most people?s minds, a type of freedom and openness about the countryside which is not necessarily available in towns and cities.
