A contract suggests a spiritual commitment. In that a contract is a binding agreement between two parties it signifies having made a promise to carry out a particular task, which should be easily identifiable after a little thought. A work contract denotes a commitment of our working life. A contract to buy signifies a long-term commitment, whereas an unsigned contract suggests that we are unable to make any commitment at this stage. As women are able to exercise more autonomy over their lives, signing a contract such as a prenuptial agreement suggests the making of a deeper commitment to themselves. In a mans dream a contract can have a more workaday connotation.
