Nature and natural occurrences have always played an important part in mans spiritual understanding. Changes which were previously attributed to the gods, such as thunderstorms and floods, tend to have a more prosaic explanation in the present day. In dreams they represent disturbances. Climate changes in dreams can often reflect our own emotions and moods. As the world is seen to undergo climate change through human intervention, dreams can take on a more apocalyptic feel. We seem to be less in touch with the effect we have on the world we live in.
