There are two spiritual interpretations for break. One is shattered idealism, hope and faith, while the other much more positive interpretation is a holiday, or 'holy day', to enable us to recharge our spiritual batteries. If we dream of breaking something, we need to decide whether it is worth mending or repairing what is represented. A favourite gift might suggest a lack of appreciation of that particular association. To dream of something being broken symbolizes loss or damage. On a mundane level, if a favourite object or childhood toy is broken we need to make changes and break from the past. If a limb is broken we may be prevented from moving forward or carrying out a certain action.
