To dream of going or being bankrupt suggests that we have lost or cut ourselves off from a source of spiritual energy. Formerly, going bankrupt carried a great deal of stigma. Such a dream, therefore, highlighted our fears and doubts about our own abilities. In todays climate where there is less disgrace, dreaming of bankruptcy simply indicates a problem that needs to be dealt with not necessarily a financial one. Since bankruptcy signifies a lack of the necessary resources, we will need to look at circumstances around us that reflect this state of mind.
