The power of our own nature and emotions that have frozen could overwhelm us and stop our spiritual progress. Psychologically we need to regain control of forces outside ourselves. We are in a position that puts us in some kind of danger, most likely from old ideas and attitudes which have become 'frozen' by continuous use. If we witness an avalanche in our dreams we are experiencing a destructive force. If we are in the middle of an avalanche we are being overwhelmed by circumstances.
