Interpretation of dream: Offence
Offence

A suggestion of spiritual wrongdoing may be relevant. A sin is a moral evil, but a wrongdoing is less culpable and in dreams may simply manifest as a warning, which allows us to assess the seriousness of the offence in waking life and then to act accordingly. To be committing an offence suggests that we are not, either consciously or unconsciously, following our own code of moral behaviour. We have put ourselves outside the norms of society. To take offence in a dream is to allow a display of emotion and feeling about our own sensitivity, which may not be appropriate in waking life. To give offence to someone in a dream is to recognize that we are not as aware of other people's feelings as we should be. Consult the entries for Burglar, Intruder and Vice for more information.
