Interpretation of dream: Nurse

To nurse originally meant to suckle, to keep alive, and for this reason spiritually signifies the nourishing aspect of the Great Mother. The figure of a nurse in dreams will suggest either that part of our character which cares for others who are sick, or that part of us which is off-balance and needs particular nurturing at this time. From an everyday perspective a nurse suggests that all is not well with a project or task and some kind of corrective care is needed. As the profession of nursing is given less status, the uniform unfortunately becomes less relevant than it once was.
