Interpretation of dream: Enemy

Any spiritual conflict may have us cast a dream character as an enemy. An enemy is 'not a friend', someone who does not have our welfare at heart. By definition, an enemy is someone who is a threat to us, perhaps emotionally, perhaps from the point of view of integrity. Dreaming of such a figure highlights such a situation. When we are in a confrontational situation the opponent will become the enemy, particularly in dreams. By working through the dream scenario we are able to deal with the actual situation in waking life. You might also like to consult the entry for Oppose/Opponent.
