To borrow something implies having to give it back at some point. So, when we use energy or resources from a spiritual perspective, we also have to give something - usually effort - back. The transaction of borrowing suggests not yet being in the position of 'owning' ideas and concepts but being prepared to make use of them. On a purely mundane level, when we dream of borrowing articles we perhaps cannot use knowledge or information without having acknowledged that they are someone else?s ideas. We must admit that we owe them a debt.
